I live in the suburbs right on the edge of being rural. I love that just 3 minutes from the highway I can transported to a space so peaceful

Why would anyone in their right mind think these ladies are role models. My mom, a single mom for years raising two girls to be strong self-reliant women, now that’s a role model. How about that young lady in Foster care picking herself up by her boot straps, now that’s a role model. What about that grandmother at 60 years old finally getting her GED, now that’s a role model. This brand of foolishness these ladies represent is not a role model. We have dumbed down our society to think fame for fame sake no matter how you get it is note worthy, well it’s not!

Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mothers Day to all those out there who have birthed and/or loved children like only a mother can. You have cleaned off scrapes, kissed ouchey, given a hug when nothing else could console. You’ve exercised tough love all while keeping an eye out for danger. That well placed spanking kept us on the right side of a wrong turn. And when we fell those loving arms welcomed us back into the fold. We love you Momma, Mom, Ma, Mother Dear, and the list goes on and on. God blessed us with the grace gift that is you.
